Experience the Magic of the Holidays at Great Park!
The season of joy and family fun is here! From December 7 to December 29, 2024, Great Park will transform into a magical winter landscape filled with holiday-themed art, music, and lights. This event, known as Holidayz at the Park, will offer an unforgettable experience for visitors of all ages.
Palm Court Light Display
One of the main attractions of Holidayz is the impressive outdoor light display in the Palm Court. Guests are invited to stroll through the sparkling environment and capture special moments. The decorations include a larger-than-life airplane that pays tribute to the park’s military roots, playfully "taken over" by the Grinch. The light display will be open daily from dusk until 9 p.m.
Holidayz Pop-Up at Great Park Studios
For those wanting to take home a special keepsake, the Holidayz Pop-Up will feature a variety of winter-themed backdrops perfect for selfies and family photos. The artist studios will be transformed into a temporary museum designed to delight visitors of all ages. This space will be open Fridays from 5 to 9 p.m. and on weekends from 1 to 8 p.m.
Illuminate Irvine: A Special Event
On December 7, from 3 to 8 p.m., the Great Park Palm Court Arts Complex will host "Illuminate Irvine." This lighting event will bring winter wonderland-inspired activities along with classic holiday music. The highlight of the evening will be the lighting of the Holiday Tree. Guests are encouraged to donate a new, unwrapped gift for children up to age 12 to support the Irvine 2/11 Marine Adoption Committee Holiday Toy Drive.
Holiday Market
The Holiday Market, taking place on December 7 from 3 to 8 p.m. and December 8 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., will offer a festive shopping experience focused on artisans in Hangar 244 at Great Park. This indoor event will feature a curated selection of vendors showcasing handmade items, including jewelry, ceramics, clothing, and more.
Holiday Classes and Activities
In addition to exhibits and activities, there will be a variety of holiday-themed classes and activities for the whole family. These activities will be held at Great Park, with fees and ages varying by program. Registration is required at yourirvine.org.
